Plyformers at VinylFest 2024 – A Celebration of Vinyl and Design!

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Great Vinyl Exchange at the Chorzów Planetarium, part of the incredible festival for vinyl lovers – VinylFest 2024. This unique event attracted crowds from all over Poland, offering collectors and music enthusiasts one-of-a-kind opportunities to expand their collections. The stalls were packed with vinyl records – from new releases, to collector's editions, and even rare gems unearthed from attic corners. There were also CDs, turntable accessories, and even art made from recycled vinyl.

The musical feast continued with live DJ sets, spun exclusively from vinyl singles. There were also music showcases in the main hall of the Planetarium, where the sound reverberated beautifully, creating a magical atmosphere. And when energy ran low, delicious food was on hand – from oriental dishes to crispy waffles and excellent ice cream, perfect for this musical celebration.

Plyformers at the Exchange

At our Plyformers booth, we showcased our collection of vinyl storage and display accessories as well as headphone stands. Everything was placed on a specially designed display stand, drawing attention with its minimalist yet functional design. Our products, made from high-quality Baltic plywood, perfectly matched the spirit of VinylFest – combining a love of music with a focus on aesthetics and sustainability.

Live Handpan Music

One of the unexpected but highly successful parts of the program was a short recital by Marcin from Plyformers, who presented the unique sounds of the Handpan (also known as the Space Drum). The performance took place both in the exhibition hall and in the Planetarium's foyer, where the building's acoustics gave the instrument's sound a truly cosmic dimension. Naturally, the Handpan deserves a dedicated stand from Plyformers – perfectly designed to match its unique shape and style.

The VinylFest Atmosphere

The whole event had the vibe of a friendly picnic, and the weather couldn't have been better. It was warm, sunny, and families, collectors, and park-goers from the beautiful Silesian Park came out in large numbers, enjoying the last heat of the year. We had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people – musicians, artists, and vinyl enthusiasts from across the country.

We are thrilled with how this year's edition of VinylFest turned out, and we’re already looking forward to next year! Thank you to everyone who visited us, and stay tuned to our website – we’ve got more surprises in store!
